Privacy and cookie policy

Bautech (“we”, “us”) operates the site bautech.ar (the “Site”). This policy explains what data we receive when you visit the Site or write to us, what we use it for, and what you can ask us about it.
It describes what the Site actually does today. If we add another tool that receives your data, we update this page before turning it on.
1. What data we receive
1.1 What you give us
When you fill in the contact form we receive what you typed. Name, email and message are required; company and phone are optional and you can leave them blank.

1.2 What is recorded automatically
Visiting the Site records aggregate usage data: which pages were viewed, device and browser type, where the visit came from, and approximate country or region. This measurement is anonymous — it does not build a profile of you and does not follow you across other sites.
The server hosting the Site also keeps technical logs with the IP address and timestamp of each request, as any web server does, for security and diagnostics.
2. What we use it for
- To answer your enquiry and continue the conversation through the channel you chose.
- To understand which parts of the Site are used and which are not, so we can improve it.
- To keep the Site running and protect it from abuse.
- To meet legal obligations where applicable.
3. What we do not do
- We do not sell, rent or transfer your data to third parties.
- We do not run targeted advertising or remarketing based on your browsing.
- We do not build commercial profiles from your behaviour on the Site.
- We do not use social media pixels or advertising cookies.
- We do not share your email or phone with anyone so they can pitch you their products.
We do not use them for behavioural advertising, nor do we share them with third parties for their own commercial purposes. Beyond the providers listed below and whatever a legal obligation may require, your data does not leave here.
4. Third-party services
These are the services involved when you use the Site. Each one has its own privacy policy, which we encourage you to read.

6. How long we keep it
- Form enquiries: up to 24 months from the last exchange, or sooner if you ask us to delete them. If the enquiry leads to a business relationship, the data tied to it is kept while that relationship is active and, afterwards, for the periods required by tax and commercial regulations —ten years for supporting documentation—; once that period ends it is deleted.
- Measurement data: kept in aggregate form, which does not allow identifying a person.
- Server logs: kept by our hosting provider for the period set by their own service, for security and diagnostics.
7. Your rights
In Argentina, Personal Data Protection Act 25.326 grants you these rights over your data:
- Access: ask what data of yours we hold and where it came from.
- Rectification: ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Update: ask us to bring outdated data up to date.
- Deletion: ask us to erase your data, unless we must keep it under a legal obligation.
To exercise them, write to hola@bautech.ar. We reply within 10 calendar days for access requests and within 5 business days for rectification, update or deletion requests, which are the deadlines set by the Act.
The Agencia de Acceso a la Información Pública, as the supervisory authority under Act 25.326, handles complaints from anyone whose right to the protection of their personal data has been affected.
8. Visitors from the European Union and the United Kingdom
If you visit from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your data on these bases: your consent, when you accept usage measurement; legitimate interest in running and improving the Site; and the performance of pre-contractual steps, when you write to enquire about our services.
Beyond the rights listed above, you may request data portability, object to a particular processing activity, and lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority in your country.
9. Security
The Site is served entirely over HTTPS and form enquiries travel encrypted to our mailbox. We apply reasonable measures to protect the information, though no system connected to the internet can guarantee absolute security.
10. Children
The Site and our services are aimed at companies and at adults. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe we have received data from a minor, write to us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our practices, the tools we use or the applicable regulations change. When that happens, we update the last-updated date shown above.
